It is reported that a subsidiary within Paramount called Frentic Films which took part in the producting “G.I.JOE”,has reached an intent of cooperation with a Chinese online game company, intending to adapt the online game named “2016-Terminator” into a sci-fi movie.
    It is well-known that the USA is home to science fiction, while Chinese sci-fi is just tinkering with some defective derivatives of “Star Wars” spread from the United States. However, nowadays, a completely original sci-fi online game, as Hollywood's favor, will be adapted into sci-fi movie. Is this due to lack of creativity in Hollywood or that Chinese sci-fi works have really achieved world-class level? The answer is self-evident.
    Over recent years, we must say that Hollywood sci-fi movies have sunk into a very awkward position, like the recent “Transformers 2”, “Terminator 2018” and so on, are remaking the past comics or having the use old materials..
