盛大官方网站正式披露持有新浪股份

Shanda Discloses Stake in Sina Corp.

Shanghai, China - February 18, 2005 - Shanda Interactive Entertainment Limited (NASDAQ: SNDA) today disclosed that as of February 10, 2005 it has, together with its controlling shareholder Skyline Media Limited, acquired approximately 19.5% of the outstanding ordinary shares of Sina Corporation (NASDAQ: SINA) through open market purchases.

In accordance with U.S. securities laws, Shanda has filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (the SEC) a statement of beneficial ownership on Schedule 13D reporting the transaction and disclosing certain other matters required to be reported on the Schedule 13D.

The full text of the Schedule 13D is available on the SEC’s website at http://www.sec.gov. Shanda noted that it does not have any further public comment on this matter at this time.
