匈牙利游戏公司Invictus CEO谈CJ感受

  2007年7月12日至7月15日,第五届中国国际数码互动娱乐产品及技术应用展览会(简称2007 ChinaJoy(专题))在上海新国际博览中心召开。上海天纵网络携刚刚签约的超逼真赛车网游《LEVEL-R》(游戏详细专题介绍>>>)亮相ChinaJoy受到玩家追捧。而《LEVEL-R》匈牙利研发公司Invictus的CEO托马斯先生也应邀来到现场,CJ结束后,他应17173之邀特意就这次chinajoy的见闻写了自己的感受:

  Hi guys, I’m Tamas, the CEO of Invictus Games Ltd from Hungary. It is great to be invited to the 5th Chinajoy. In this impressive expo, I talked with many Chinese game developers and players, and I definitely think that it is worth to come the China this time after really be in here by myself, to be in touch with this promising game market.

  In Hungary, the PC game development can keep in pace with the world, but for online game, we are a bit being followed behind in terms of  how the developers like us respond to the market change and how our local players accept and comprehend the concept of online games.  This time when I really take part in Chinajoy, I deeply realize that Chinese online game market is huge.  I already heard of it before I came here, but after I’m really being here, seeing so many players in the queue waiting to get in the show and the fantastic stages of different game companies, it’s like “Oh, my god. It’s the players’ heaven”. The develop speed of Chinese online game market is beyond my expectation. I’ve been to the Tokyo Game Show and the E3 in the US, but neither of it is like Chinajoy, with so many players involved. As I know, in Japan, we can say an online game is good when it has 1 million registered users and 10 thousand concurrent users. But in China, as far as I know, many games have ten millions of registered users and five or six hundred thousands of concurrent users. So to some degree I think we can say that China may be the No. 1 online game market now. Through this time the impressive visit to China, I have made my mind to further our business and influence in this market. In addition, we also feel the challenges from our counterparts in China. Several years ago, when we talk about the development of online games, we first will say Korea after they have made their leading position  through several years digging. And now, we can see many Chinese game developers are doing very well now. Even they are still a bit Korean developers, we have seen their great power and  potentials.  From now on, I believe we will have more communication with those developers to discuss the game development. And I’m sure that in the future, China will be another game development giant besides Korea.

  It’s a great when in China and we think that it is so right to have our game operated in China. Meanwhile, we also feel that we have to keep working hard to develop great online game to satisfy Chinese players. During the Chinajoy this time, we have great discussions with our partners, Gamepot and Joyzone and we got many ideas from them in terms of both game design and marketing. After I go back to Invictus, I share those ideas with our guys and try our best to make our Level-R even more enjoyable.

  Finally, I’ll take this chance to thank Chinese players again for their hospitality. As the first Hungarian game company having business in Chinese market, we are confident that Chinese players will be satisfied with our games.

  大家好,我是匈牙利Invictus Games的CEO Tamas。很高兴能受邀参加第五届ChinaJoy这个盛会。通过这次盛会,我接触到了许多中国的游戏开发商,以及玩家,接触到了中国这样一个游戏的市场,我觉得收获很大。

  在匈牙利,也许就单机版游戏而言和世界潮流可以保持一致,但是在网络游戏方面发展还是比较慢的,这个慢不仅表现在像我们这样的开发商对于市场需求的敏锐度上,也反映在玩家对于网络游戏这个概念的接受度和理解度。这次来中国参加ChinaJoy,首先让我意识到中国的网络游戏是一个多么庞大的市场,虽然之前心里已经有了一定的准备,但真到了现场,看见外面一圈又一圈买票等候入场的玩家,看到里面一个个华丽的展台。我想说,天啊!这里真是游戏的天堂。发展速度完全出乎了我的意料,我去过日本的东京电玩展,美国的E3大展还有一些韩国的展会,但是没有一个能像ChinaJoy那样,拥有那么多玩家的基础。我知道在日本,一个网游拥有100万注册用户,同时在线能上万就已经是相当不错的游戏了,但是在中国,通过一些了解,一千万以上注册用户的游戏比比皆是,有的同时在线甚至能到五六十万,就市场而言中国绝对是世界第一。通过这次来中国交流我们进一步坚定了在中国发展,前进的决心。其次,在ChinaJoy上面我们感受到中国同行对我们发起的挑战。以前说到网络游戏,大家首推韩国,短短几年时间韩国的同行通过努力打下了自己的天下,现在这种努力又流传到了中国,这次ChinaJoy,我特地观察了几部中国同行所开发的网络游戏,虽然在质量上和韩国的比还有差距,但是已经能感受到隐隐的冲击力,许多想法也非常有意思,以后我们会更多的与中国同行交流,切磋的。我确信未来中国也能像韩国一样成为游戏的出口港。

  这几天在中国玩得很高兴,能把我们的游戏推销到中国是十分正确的。同时这也鞭策我们要更加努力的去开发游戏,来满足广大中国玩家挑剔的眼光,ChinaJoy期间我们和天纵网络以及日本的Gamepot公司开展了许多富有意义的讨论,从市场宣传到游戏内容,我们从中国和日本那里得到了许多精彩的点子。这次回去我们会努力的去实现它,不久大家就能看到一个更加完美的Level-R。

  最后再一次向中国玩家的热情招待表示感谢,作为第一家进入中国市场的匈牙利游戏公司,我们不会让大家失望的。
